1. New Reading Unit - Avid Readers
2. Students will be invited to become Avid Readers to help them understand what that means
3. Students will learn that Avid Readers react to books and find ways to share those reactions with others
4. Students will learn that readers record their thinking about books so they can talk about books later
*This week in Math Kindergarteners will...
*Math homework comes home on Tuesday evening - 2 pages (front/back) due on Friday
1. New Math Module: Module 5
2. Module 5 is understanding numbers 10-20 and counting to 100
3. Place value (tens and ones)
4. Different ways to make numbers 10-20
