The students will continue on learning the same topics as last week in Reading, Writing, Phonics, and Math this week. But the exciting new topic added this week is .....
Science Unit Trimester 3 This trimester the students will learning all about animals in science! Specifically the students will learn about penguin, fish, insects, and worms. We will kick out this start to this unit by visiting the Shedd Aquarium. In addition each Wednesday during science instruction the students will be engaged learning about animals using both fiction and nonfiction text. We will finish our learning in May by visiting (field trip) another place you can see animals, but you will have to wait until then to find out where! So many words on our SNAP WORD WALL in Kindergarten!Here is what the Macaws are learning this week....Below is what the students will be learning in the following subject areas; reading, writing, word study (phonics), and math throughout the week!
