What is happening this week in room 116A....
This week I will be sharing Scholastic Book Orders!
What are Scholastic Book Orders?
Encouraging reading is one of the most important things we do to help your child succeed. It can be tough finding the right books to keep them interested, which is why I am excited our class is participating in Scholastic Book Club this year. When flyers come home (either electronically via email or a paper catalogue in your child's folder) you have the opportunity to purchase books that are grade level specific and/or some grade level high interest titles. In the description of most of the books your will see GRL which stands for Guided Reading Level. GRL books that many Kindergarteners independently read during Reading Workshop and can be challenging to find so it is so wonderful they are labeled by Scholastic. Most Kindergarteners GRL range from a Level A - Level D.
*If interested, please visit: www.scholastic.com/bookclubs & end our class code: RJD3J.
*Do not send in money, please make any/all purchases online.
*Any items you purchase will be sent to Mann School and I will make sure they are come home with your child. If you ever order a book/item which is a 'surprise' for your child, let me know and I can get it you without your child knowing!
